Vu Van Thinh, Ph.D. Candidate, Nanhua University


Mr. Thinh Vu graduated from Vietnam University of Commerce (Thuongmai University) with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration in 2010 and a Master’s degree in Commerce in 2012. Currently, he is a Ph.D. student at Nanhua University, Taiwan with major in Management Science.

Before doing his Ph.D. at Nanhua University, Thinh Vu was a lecturer at the Vietnam University of Commerce and actively engaged in research. His past research projects include 3 research projects at Ministry level, 5 scientific research projects, at University level. Thinh published 20 papers in international and national conferences. Thinh won the award of the Ministry-level scientific research student in 2010 and the second prize in the contest “Industrial Relations Research Contest”, organized by ILO and the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs in 2019.

Currently, Thinh is pursuing two main research directions: (i) Workplace democracy, workplace bullying and Employee voice / employee silence; (ii) Vietnam’s migrant worker in Taiwan and Japan. Besides, he continues to do research on the topic of corporate social responsibility ̣CSRĐ.
